How many would like to Tank do a Gospel Album?
My classmate is related to Tank. They grew up singing in the choir back in the day. His grandma is the church pastor, never seen him in concert before, and haven't seen him since they were kids. He do have some good songs. They especially like to hear him sing gospel songs. God has given people gift and talents. That may not be the way God wants you to share your gifts in wordly (ungodly)kinda way.
He's mentioned that he didnt want to confuse church with the bedroom and when its time for him to do gospel, he'll do it ...
Sacred Love Song: Heaven.
I would definitely buy a Gospel CD by Tank. There's not a doubt in my mind whether he's anointed to do this. I guess the question is: If he wants to do it, why hasn't he done it? What is he waiting for? I would love to see the "Bad-Boy-gone-good" do a Gospel CD, although, I think he's already done a few songs already. I would love to hear one of him on Bishop T.D. Jakes "Sacred Love Songs" CD, I'm just sayin! It would be a small start but a great way to explore the genre and reveal a little more about himself as an artist. And, of course, we ladies would be more "gone" than we already are. In my humble and personal opinion, there's nothing more sexy than a romantic Christian man.
He definitely has it in him!
I would love to hear a gospel album from Tank
If he did a gospel album I would definitely give it a listen. That's similar to R.Kelly, he wanted to drop a gospel album before TP2 but nonetheless he did some gospel songs on the cd entitled "R. Kelly" album with songs like "Trading My Life" and "Heaven If You Hear Me" and "Religious Love" is relative as well!! So would definitely support that!!
Actually, I remember a snippet from an interview he did back when his 2nd release "One Man" came out. He talked about doing a gospel album...even actually mentioned collaborating with Dave Hollister. Who knows? He shows no signs of slowing down with what music he's coming out with. But I guess anything's possible.
